Pantone color palettes 2016

The Pantone Colour Institute®, a chosen COLOR 2016. But this time it was a surprise, because for the first time, were selected two colors: ROSE QUARTZ (PANTONE 13-1520) and SERENITY (PANTONE 15-3919).

From PANTONE they say that "the combination of Serenity Rose Quartz and embodies the inherent balance between heady pink tone warmer and colder tranquility of blue, to reflect a state of being and connection and a reassuring sense of order and peace".

But this combination also challenges traditional perceptions associated with pink and blue.

This unilateral approach more consistent with social movements that refer to gender equality where generations of consumers have less concern about being pigeonholed and judged according to the colors they use.

The Rose Quartz is a mild tone that conveys compassion and a sense of composure. Moreover, the Serenity tone is weightless and airy, like the blue sky that is above us, providing feeling of rest and relaxation, even in these turbulent times.

The assembly of the most interesting color palettes that include both tones, add the greens and purples, browns, yellows and pinks.

They go very well in all finishes, whether matt, metallic and shiny.

Finally, to add a spark of brilliance, can be combined with silver, gold and copper.

Here we leave some pictures of interiors that use these colors to be inspired and encouraged to incorporate into their decorations.
